This photograph is a section of an identification tag found upon a cornish fishing boat. I have not altered the image in any way. Part of it's charm and appeal for me is in the peeling back of layers to reveal previous ownner's tags. I like the sense of history that this implies and I am currently working on some pieces which draw from this concept.
